Survey
In August 2024, the New Mexico Home Builders Association (NMHBA), in collaboration with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), launched a comprehensive membership survey to spotlight the top housing challenges from an NMHBA member perspective. The NMHBA survey was modeled on a national study which can be located at this link: https://www.nahb.org/-/media/NAHB/news-and-economics/docs/housing-economics-plus/special-studies/2021/special-study-government-regulation-in-the-price-of-a-new-home-may-2021.pdf. This initiative gives members a powerful platform to share concerns and priorities, ensuring that the NMHBA advocacy agenda aligns with real-world challenges faced by our industry. The survey findings will play a critical role in shaping our legislative priorities, empowering us to champion policies that support housing attainability and represent the voices of NMHBA members effectively.
