Since 1942, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and (1959) the New Mexico Home Builders Association (NMHBA) have sought to strengthen your business and faithfully represent the greater interests of the home building industry, while promoting safe, quality, and attainable housing for families and communities.

Our advocacy at the local, state, and national levels aims to reduce excessive regulation, improve the business environment, and keep housing a policy priority, directly supporting member companies’ profitability and ability to operate.

For member businesses, we provide education, technical resources, and industry publications on codes, legislation, taxes, and best practices so companies can navigate compliance and run more efficient operations.  Our networking opportunities and a federation-style structure connects member-firms into a broader professional community, opens doors to partnerships, market insight, and brings discounts on services and major events like the International Builders’ Show and annual NM Builders Summit.

To become a member of NAHB, you must either join the local home builders association (HBA) in your area or, in the case where a Local HBA does not service the home building and related construction industry in a territory, a member may join as an "At-Large:" Member and become a member of both the National Association of Home Builders and the New Mexico Home Builders Association.

Members may utilize New Mexico Home Builders Association’s online dues portal to pay At-Large Membership Dues of $400 or mail a check for dues to: NMHBA, 4100 Wolcott Ave NE Suite B, Albuquerque NM 87109.
