Roswell, NM based Fortifide Structures has something new for the NAHB Modular Home Building Council to Study

BILT-WISE NM @fortified.structures is part of a new, emerging generation of building systems that could allow small-scale contractors to once again participate in the affordable/attainable housing effort.

(For decades, the economies of scale to create affordable or workforce-priced housing have been beyond the reach of NM’s smaller, family-run building contractors)

This Roswell family company isn’t aiming to compete with custom home builders, but has targeted the homes they’re building to fill a pricing gap between manufactured homes built on chassis and market-rate, site-built custom homes.

And these aren’t “manufactured” homes; these are State residential building code-compliant (IRC) built homes – high energy performing, transported in modules by truck, and set on permanent foundations. New Mexico hasn’t seen price points that are being hit by these homes in decades, with complete builds starting in the high $200K region (without subsidy)

Fortified is bringing a new answer to the table for New Mexico’s smaller-scale contractors who want to participate in the affordable and attainable housing effort. #FortifiedStructures #Housing #NewMexico Fortified Structures #affordablehousing
